Producer

Bodegas Godeval

Spain

Founded in Galicia in 1986 by Horacio Fernández Presa, Bodegas Godeval is a winery focused mainly on the Godello grape. The estate is primarily owned by Honorato López Isla and has been managed by the founder’s daughter, Araceli Fernández, since 2006. Winemaking is led by Ana Bartolomé, with both Horacio and Araceli remaining involved. Acquired by Ramón Bilbao’s Zamora Company in 2005 and converted into a limited company in 2016, Godeval combines a family-linked history with a broader corporate ownership structure. Its wines are rooted in Galicia’s Godello tradition.
