Bodegas Atalaya is a small winery founded in 2007 in Castilla-La Mancha, with vineyards north of Almansa at roughly 700–1,000 metres on low-fertility limestone and sandy soils. The vineyards are organically farmed, dry-farmed, hand-harvested, and managed without pesticides or herbicides. Owned by Gil Family Estates with participation from the López Family, it forms part of the Orovayns holding of small Spanish wineries. Atalaya focuses on red wines from indigenous varieties including Garnacha Tintorera and Monastrell, with many vines around 50 years old.
