Amisfield is a family-owned estate in Central Otago, founded by John Darby, with vineyards on Mount Pisa and in Lowburn. Its single-estate vineyard is fully certified organic by BioGro New Zealand, with practices focused on healthy soils, biodiversity and respect for the land. The winery is a member of Sustainable Winegrowers New Zealand and uses an onsite wetland to treat wastewater for irrigation reuse. A gravity-flow facility supports the production of limited quantities of Pinot Noir and aromatic whites, including single-block and barrel-selection reserve wines. Winemaking is led by Stephanie Lambert and Ben Leen.
