Producer

Mauro Marengo

Italy

Mauro Marengo is a family-owned Piedmont producer established in 1899, with vineyards in La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Barolo and Vezza d’Alba. Run by the Marengo family and operated by Marco Marengo, son of Mario, the winery reflects a multigenerational, hands-on approach. Its vineyards are rooted in limestone and clay soils, including blue-grey marls and limestone. Farming follows an integrated, sustainable approach, with grass left between the rows and the use of manure and organic products, though no third-party certification is noted. The focus is on estate-grown Piedmont wines shaped by classic local terroirs and practical, thoughtful vineyard work.
