Mas de Boislauzon

France

Mas de Boislauzon is a long-standing family estate in Orange, in the Rhône Valley, run by Christine and Daniel Chaussy under the guidance of Madame Monique Chaussy, with the sixth generation now involved. The domaine produces wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône Villages. Farming has been organic for more than a decade, with certification from 2012/2013, and biodynamic practices since 2021. The estate emphasizes hands-on vineyard work, including mechanical soil cultivation and manual harvesting with sorting in the vineyard, followed by bottling at the estate. Their approach focuses on close observation of the vine and its environment, including work guided by the lunar calendar.
