Maison Ravatys is a historic Beaujolais estate at the foot of Mont Brouilly, producing estate-grown Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly and Beaujolais wines, chiefly from Gamay, alongside Chardonnay and rosé. Owned by the Pasteur Institute of Paris since 1937 through a bequest from Mathilde Courbe, it directs part of its earnings toward Institut Pasteur research. The vineyard is certified organic according to some notes, while others describe it as HVE level 3 and in organic conversion. Hand-harvested parcels are vinified separately using traditional methods, including gobelet pruning, cement vats, gravity handling and maturation in foudres or oak barrels. The estate is now part of the Lavorel Hotels group.
