La Coulée de Serrant

France

La Coulée de Serrant is a monopole estate in Savennières in the Loire Valley, owned and operated by the Joly family and overseen by Nicolas Joly as winemaker. The estate has practiced biodynamic viticulture since 1984 and holds Ecocert and Demeter organic and biodynamic certification. Vineyard work is done largely by hand and horse, with low yields and minimal mechanisation to preserve terroir. The domaine produces three wines: Coulée de Serrant, Clos de la Bergerie, and Les Vieux Clos.
