La Colombera

Italy

La Colombera is a family-run estate in Piedmont, shaped by generations of dedication to farming and winemaking. The Colombera family and Cristiano Garella manage the vineyards and cellar, with Elisa Semino, Giacomo and Guglielmo Colombera leading the winemaking. The estate practices sustainable viticulture, working the vines by hand, avoiding chemical herbicides and using only copper and sulfur in the vineyard; cellar work follows a minimal-intervention approach, with added sulfur only before bottling. La Colombera was among the early producers to support the revival of Timorasso in the 1990s, including its Montino cru, and focuses on expressing the character of its Piedmontese vineyards.
