Lonardi is based in Marano di Valpolicella, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, where its vineyards produce traditional Valpolicella, Recioto and Amarone. The winery has family roots in local farming and hospitality: Giuseppe Lonardi began making wine in the early 1980s with enologist Roberto Ferrarini, and the estate is now led by his daughter Silvia, who brings a fresh creative energy. Wines respect local tradition while using innovative vinification techniques, with personally selected oak barrels from the production area used for ageing. The winemaking team also includes Master of Wine Andrea Lonardi, working with Gabriele Gorelli and Pietro Russo since 2015. The estate additionally produces Grappa di Amarone Riserva and local extra virgin olive oil.
