Firestone is a family-owned, multigenerational estate winery in Santa Ynez Valley, California, founded in 1972 by Leonard and Brooks Firestone as Santa Barbara County’s first estate winery. Its vineyards are entirely estate-grown and certified sustainable, with varietal-specific canopy control, precise irrigation, and targeted crop management. Located about 26 miles from the Pacific, the estate’s moderate, arid climate and long growing season produce wines described as concentrated, elegant, and firmly structured. The vineyards include sandy loam with rocky sub-soils and limestone-shale alluvial shelf sites at approximately 1,000 feet. Under vintner Bill Foley’s guidance, Firestone continues the family’s winegrowing tradition.
