Château Lestrille

France

Château Lestrille is a fifth-generation family estate in Saint-Germain-du-Puch, in Bordeaux’s Entre-Deux-Mers, independent since 1901. Led by Estelle Roumage, the family farms its vineyards with a gardener’s patience and close attention to soil, vines and biodiversity. After decades of reasoned viticulture, the estate’s first organically certified vintage was 2023; it is also HVE and Bee Friendly certified. No chemical herbicides are used, while hedges, nesting boxes, a pond, an orchard and flowering fallows support the wider ecosystem. The wines are presented as modern, fresh, elegant and approachable, combining family tradition with continual reinvention and a clear sense of place.
