Château Les Grauzils

France

Château Les Grauzils is a fourth-generation, family-run estate in the Cahors appellation of Southwest France, operated by Francis and Philippe Ponti. Its vineyards lie on the second and third terraces around Prayssac, on stony gravel and sandstone soils, and are planted mainly to Malbec with Merlot and a little Tannat. The estate holds HEV certification and emphasizes responsible farming through permanent grass cover, controlled yields and limited chemical treatments. Winemaking is carried out within the Ponti family, reflecting a hands-on approach rooted in the estate’s history since the 1880s.
