Château Lassègue

France

Château Lassègue is an 18th-century Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Émilion, jointly owned by the Jackson and Seillan families and operated by the Seillan team. Winemaking has been led by sixth-generation vigneron Pierre Seillan, with his son Nicolas Seillan succeeding him, continuing a generational, craft-focused approach. The estate works old vines on south- and southwest-facing clay-limestone slopes, treating its terroir through a micro-cru philosophy with separate vinifications and gentle handling. Farming is herbicide-free and sustainability-minded, with biodiversity initiatives, sustainable oak sourcing, and Level 3 HVE certification. The wines are known for combining old-vine Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon into a style of elegant power, richness and minerality.
