Château La Cabanne is a family-run Pomerol estate in Bordeaux, owned by the Estager family since 1952. François Estager serves as Managing Director and lead winemaker, with support from consultant Thomas Duclos. The vineyard is planted mainly to Merlot with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, and the estate has been fully organic certified since 2023, with certification confirmed for the 2024 vintage. The wine is aged for 15 months in oak, including a significant share of new barrels, giving the estate a classic, polished Right Bank style rooted in longstanding family ownership.
