Château Fleur Cardinale

France

Château Fleur Cardinale is a family-run Saint-Émilion estate in Bordeaux, owned by Dominique and Florence Decoster since 2001 and now managed by their children, Ludovic and Caroline. Winemaking is led by Ludovic Decoster, with Michel Rolland as consultant. The estate works with a detailed parcel-by-parcel approach, combining tradition and innovation to adapt vineyard and cellar decisions to each site and vintage. Sustainability is central to the domaine, with HVE certification, no synthetic herbicides, selective biological methods, green cover crops, water and energy reduction measures, effluent recycling, hedgerow and fruit-tree planting, and a partnership with Reforest’Action. The style is shaped by careful observation of terroir and precise vinification in a dedicated modern cellar.
