Château Bouscassé

France

Château Bouscassé is a family-run Madiran estate in southwest France, owned and operated by Alain Brumont since he inherited it in 1980. The property has been held by his family since before the French Revolution, with vineyards scattered among forested plots. Brumont follows traditional, natural viticulture without chemical use, keeping yields low and determining harvest timing by taste. In the cellar, the wines are made without additives, fining, filtering, or micro-oxygenation, reflecting a hands-off approach focused on expressing the estate’s character.
