Château Belle Assise Coureau is a boutique Saint-Émilion estate in Bordeaux, acquired in 2013 by a group of friends led by former Formula 1 driver Jean-Pierre Beltoise, alongside Alain Garitey and Lionel Gallais. The historic property was previously owned by the Brun family since the 19th century. Its vineyard is farmed sustainably, without a stated formal certification, and winemaker Paul Junet oversees the production. The estate follows a direct-sale model, reflecting its focused, hands-on approach to small-scale production.
