Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini

Italy

Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini is a cooperative winery founded in 1971 in Tuscany, between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo, with vineyards spread across a well-known winegrowing area that includes Cortona, Val di Chiana, Montepulciano and Val d’Orcia. Created to promote the grapes of local growers, it remains cooperative in ownership, with more than 200 member-growers. The winery provides technical support in the vineyard and has increasingly encouraged organic farming, with six growers certified organic. In the cellar, it aims for increasingly eco-sustainable vinification and uses minimal intervention to express terroir. Winemaking is overseen by Mery Ferrara, with consulting support from Maurizio Castelli.
