Bodegas Torre del Veguer

Spain

Bodegas Torre del Veguer is a family-owned, artisanal estate in Sant Pere de Ribes, in the Garraf subzone of DO Penedès. Housed in a fortified historic property dating to 1359, it has been owned by the Soler Ferrer-Vidal family since 1895. The winery makes wines from its own vineyards, fully certified organic since 2016, with hand harvesting, manual sorting and temperature-controlled fermentations. Its calcareous Garraf soils, marine influence and Mediterranean climate contribute mineral, saline and iodized character. Varieties include Xarel·lo, Malvasia de Sitges, Muscat, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Xarel·lo Vermell. Modern cellar facilities complement the medieval architecture, while the estate’s tours connect wine with local history, gastronomy and culture.
