Astobiza is a small, family-owned winery in Spain’s Txakolí de Álava D.O., founded in 2008. It is run by Xabier Abando, his son-in-law Jon Zubeldia, and enologist Ana Martin, with Abando and Martin responsible for winemaking. The vineyards are managed through a combination of sustainable integrated practices and organic farming, although no formal certifications are noted.
