Vega Tolosa is a family-owned winery in Casas Ibáñez, within DO Manchuela, founded in 1905 and now run by the Tolosa family’s later generations, with Juan Miguel Tolosa as winemaker. The estate is farmed under certified organic practices, with solar power, plant-based fining agents and vegan certification. The winery focuses particularly on indigenous varieties such as Bobal and Tardana, including old Bobal vines, while also exploring international grapes. Its wines seek a balance between ripe fruit and the freshness of the continental Manchuela climate. Traditional methods, fine-lees work, French oak, foudres and concrete eggs are used according to the style, combining family heritage with modern, sustainable winemaking.
