Val di Suga is a Montalcino winery focused on expressing the denomination’s diverse terroirs. Its vineyards span three slopes and contrasting soils, from galestro to sands and clays, shaped by Mediterranean and continental influences. The estate produces Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino, including single-vineyard wines from Vigna Spuntali, Poggio al Granchio, and Vigna del Lago, alongside a blend designed to balance their distinct characteristics. The winery’s single-vineyard project began in the 1980s, with the three-cru approach completed in 2009. Its first harvest was in 1973, and it became part of Tenimenti Angelini in 1994. Val di Suga’s Brunello 2019 is identified as a sustainable wine, though no specific certification is provided.
