Troon Vineyard is a family-rooted winery and diversified farm in Oregon’s Applegate Valley, established by Dick Troon in 1972 and now managed by Craig C. Alongside vines, the estate includes cider apples, vegetables, hay, re-wilded honeybees, sheep, and chickens. Its farming is certified Demeter Biodynamic and Regenerative Organic Gold, with a strong focus on soil health, biodiversity, no-till practices, and carbon sequestration. Troon makes land-expressive wines from Rhône, Provence, and other southern French varieties, including still, sparkling, orange, and pétillant naturel styles. Winemaking is minimalist: grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, without commercial additives or acid adjustments, and wines are generally bottled unfined and unfiltered. The estate’s fresh, lively wines are intended to reflect the terroir of the Applegate Valley and its regenerative farming.
