Producer

San Marzano

Italy

Founded in 1962 by 19 growers, San Marzano Vini is a fully member-owned cooperative in Apulia, now bringing together around 1,200 winegrowers. Its vineyards include traditional bush-trained vines and old vines, cultivated with an emphasis on close-to-nature practices and conservation, though no formal sustainability certifications are cited. President Francesco Cavallo oversees the cooperative, while young enologists Caterina Bellanova and Davide Ragusa guide its wines from Primitivo, Negroamaro and other regional varieties. The winery combines modern facilities with established local viticultural traditions.
