Based in Rasteau in the Rhône Valley, Domaine Romain Duvernay operates as a family-run négociant and wine house, working with partner growers across Northern and Southern Rhône appellations. The house traces its origins to 1904, with the Romain Duvernay label relaunched in 1998; it is associated with Roland and Romain Duvernay and veteran winemaker Jean-Marc Pottiez. Its approach emphasizes long-term relationships, rigorous selection, respect for traditional winemaking and the individuality of each terroir. Romain Duvernay advises growers, oversees vinification and creates blends intended to express Rhône varieties and appellations in intense, fruity and complex wines. The range is increasingly oriented toward organic viticulture, including certified organic cuvées and wines from environmentally certified partner estates, with some wines made without sulfites.
