Newton Johnson Family Vineyards

South Africa

Newton Johnson Family Vineyards is a family-run estate in South Africa’s Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley near Hermanus, founded over three decades ago by Dave Johnson and Felicity Newton. Today, second-generation brothers Bevan and Gordon Newton Johnson own and manage the property, with Nadia as winemaker. The estate’s Newton Johnson range comes from its own vineyards, and the winery produces three tiers of wines. Its family ownership and continuity across generations are central to its identity.
