Winzerhof Nagel is a family-run estate in Dettelbach, Franconia, where Tobias Nagel took over ownership and management from his father Roland in 2023. Father and son continue to work together in the vineyards, combining experience with newer ideas, while Tobias leads cellar operations and winemaking. The estate emphasizes protecting nature and maintaining regional ties, though no sustainability certification is reported. Its wines are made with spontaneous fermentation using wild yeasts; whites mature for 11–22 months in large Franconian oak casks, while reds spend 22 months in smaller oak barrels. Wines are bottled without fining and partly without filtration, reflecting a traditional, hands-off approach.
