Luna Beberide is a second-generation, family-owned winery in Bierzo, Castilla y León, focused on native Mencía and Godello. Its estate vineyards range from 400 to 900 metres in altitude and include many vines more than 50–70 years old. The family farms organically and vegan, without cited formal certifications, and the wines reflect the character of these mountain vineyards and old vines. Early winemaking was overseen by Mariano García, formerly chief oenologist at Vega Sicilia. Luna Beberide now fully owns the Paixar label, with Alejandro Luna among the people associated with the estate.
