Clos Triguedina in Cahors, Sud-Ouest, is a family-owned estate run by the seventh-generation Baldès family and managed by Sabine and Jean-Luc Baldès, with Juliette representing the next generation. Jean-Luc Baldès, known as a “maître du Malbec,” pioneered stainless-steel winemaking and temperature-controlled fermentations in Cahors. The estate farms parcels across four Lot communes, limiting yields and using parcel selection, regular ploughing and leaf removal; it is not organically or biodynamically certified. Its wines include AOC Cahors reds alongside IGP whites and rosés, fortified wines and sparkling Malbec.
