Douro Tinto Anchor Red

Feuerheerd’s is a historic Douro brand owned by Bardo de Vilar–Vinhos, SA, controlled by the Barros family in partnership with the van Zeller family. Winemaker Álvaro van Zeller oversees production from the Saido Estate, where around 9 hectares of vineyards lie on schist soils within an 80-hectare property that also produces olive oil. Newly planted vines are equipped with irrigation. The portfolio comprises 24 wines, and no specific sustainability certifications are noted.
