Domaine de Sulauze

France

Domaine de Sulauze is a biodynamic polyculture estate in Provence, owned and run by Guillaume and Karina Lefèvre since 2004. The farm moved from conventional agriculture to organic and now biodynamic farming, with vines alongside barley, wheat, olive trees and other mixed agricultural activity. No herbicides, insecticides or chemical treatments are used; harvests are manual, work follows the lunar calendar, and some vineyard plots are worked with animal traction. On limestone, shell and sandy soils, the domaine aims to express terroir through low-intervention winemaking, using indigenous yeasts, little or no sulphur, and no filtration. The wines include natural wines and sparkling wines.
