Domaine de l’Idylle is a six-generation Tiollier family estate in Cruet, Savoie, established in 1840 and now led by oenologist and winemaker Sylvain Tiollier, alongside Philippe and François. Its vines lie on steep, alpine slopes in the Bauges area, where argilo-calcareous soils, altitude, sunshine, and cool nights help preserve freshness. The domaine works with regional varieties including Jacquère, Altesse, Mondeuse, and Persan, producing still and sparkling wines bottled on the estate. Vineyard work is largely manual, with close attention to each parcel and the natural environment. Organic farming was adopted in 2020, with Agriculture Biologique certification and HVE certification supporting its focus on biodiversity and reduced chemical inputs. Gravity-fed cellar handling and predominantly stainless-steel élevage aim to express the purity of the Savoie terroir.
