Claudie Jobard is a family-owned Burgundy domaine based in Demigny, working across the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise, including Rully, Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Pommard. An eighth-generation winemaker, Claudie draws on deep family roots: Roger Jobard developed the Rully vineyard in the 1970s, and Laurence Jobard passed on notable family parcels in Pommard. Trained as a nurseryman-oenologist, Claudie farms with a focus on soil life and is described as certified organic, using natural composts, minimal treatments and light tillage; some notes also mention organic conversion and horse work in Pommard. Vinification, élevage, bottling and labeling are carried out at the domaine with rigorous oversight and manual harvests. The estate emphasizes low-yield Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and aims for an authentic, delicate expression of Burgundy terroir.
