Château Petit Bocq is a family-controlled Saint-Estèphe estate, founded by the Souquet family and now owned and managed by Belgian entrepreneur Dr Gaëtan Lagneaux. Its vineyard comprises around 19 hectares in more than 90 parcels across the appellation, with predominantly gravelly soils and vines averaging roughly 38–42 years old. Viticulture follows traditional, reasoned practices, including mechanical soil work without pesticides or herbicides and manual leaf removal; the estate is certified HVE3 and Terra Vitis. Harvesting is manual, with careful sorting, while winemaking emphasizes respect for the fruit, finesse and balance rather than over-ripeness. The sole wine is structured, powerful and age-worthy, shaped by subtly dosed French oak and Saint-Estèphe’s diverse terroirs.
