Château Nadal Hainaut is a family-run estate in Roussillon, rooted in the Sainte Eulalie Cistercian priory, whose history reaches back to the 12th century and whose viticultural tradition dates to 1826. Sixth-generation Jean-Marie Nadal works alongside his daughters, including Julie, overseeing vinification from grape reception through bottling. The estate has farmed organically since 2010 and has been Ecocert certified since 2013, promoting biodiversity, limiting irrigation, and using low-sulphur and sulphur-free approaches. Its vineyards include a centenary Carignan planted in 1900, on clay-limestone soils with river pebbles. Wines are made and raised on the estate using temperature-controlled stainless steel, concrete vats for some reds, and careful oxygen management, producing organic whites, rosés, reds, and natural sweet wines.
