Château Le Barrail is a Saint-Émilion estate acquired by Louis Parent in 2004. Its vineyards are planted predominantly to Merlot, with Cabernet Franc completing the blend. Vineyard management, winemaking and marketing are handled by Dourthe and négociant CVGB under lease arrangements. The estate holds European Ecolabel certification, while the owners also use biodynamic practices on their other properties. Sustainability extends to local sourcing from more than ten regional producers, with 83.5% of on-site products carrying an eco-label.
