Château La Branne is a family-owned estate in Bégadan, Médoc, run by Fabienne and Philippe Videau with their son Vincent, who joined after gaining experience in Chile and New Zealand. The family has vinified on the property since 1999, working with oenologist Antoine Medeville. Its vineyards span sandy-gravel, clay-gravel and clay-limestone soils and are planted with classic Médoc varieties. Certified HVE Level 3 since 2016, the estate promotes biodiversity through grass cover, beehives and flower strips, alongside traditional pruning and canopy work. Traditional Médoc vinification is followed by French-oak aging. The wines are noted for finesse, elegance, ripe fruit and silky, soft tannins.
