Travaglini is a historic, family-owned estate in Gattinara, Piedmont, founded in the 1920s by Clemente Travaglini and now led by the fourth and fifth generations. With about 59 hectares of vineyards—representing roughly half of the Gattinara DOCG area—the winery is the largest landowner in the appellation. The family focuses on traditional, 100% Nebbiolo wines, using medium-to-long maceration and aging in large Slavonian oak casks. While no specific certifications are detailed, Travaglini appears on a sustainability chart and has received a cork certificate for CO₂ sequestration. The estate is also known for its distinctive, patented slanted bottle, introduced in 1958.
