Founded and owned by Ricardo Reinoso in 1999, Tobelos Bodegas y Viñedos is based in Briñas, Rioja Alta, at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria. Its vineyards span 80 small plots, with vines aged between 30 and 90 years, on calcium-rich clay-limestone soils. The winery emphasizes manual harvesting, meticulous selection, parcel-by-parcel vinification, and full traceability, preserving the character of each site. Recognized as a Viñedo Singular since 2021, Tobelos produces Rioja wines focused on Crianza, alongside a Reserva and a lees-aged white. Its wines draw on grapes from Briñas, Labastida, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, and Rivas de Tereso, with aging and microvinification facilities supporting careful, detailed production.
