Quinta do Ameal is a boutique estate in the Lima Valley of Minho, within Portugal’s Vinho Verde DOC, focused on Loureiro. Its vineyards are farmed organically, with notes also اشاره to biodynamic practices, on granite bedrock with sandy loam soils. The estate emphasizes hand-harvested fruit and low-intervention cellar work, using natural low-temperature fermentation and stainless-steel sur-lie aging to preserve freshness. The resulting wines are aimed at a light, citrus-driven, refreshing style. Notes indicate the property was previously run by Pedro Araújo and has been owned by José Roquette of Esporão since 2019.
