Champagne Pierre Peters is a family-owned grower-producer based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des Blancs, now led by Rodolphe Peters, sixth-generation farmer and fourth-generation winemaker. The estate has been producing Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne since 1919, focused on Chardonnay from villages including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. Farming emphasizes respect for the environment, with HVE-certified viticulture, organic farming on the two largest parcels, no pesticides or herbicides, cover crops and regular ploughing. In the cellar, the aim is to preserve Chardonnay’s balance, varietal character and terroir expression through careful pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation in small stainless steel tanks, lees ageing and thoughtful blending, including long-held reserve wines.
