Founded in 1941 by Jan Rossouw and local farmers, Perdeberg Cellar farms dry-land vineyards across South Africa’s Paarl and Swartland regions. Its low-input, sustainable viticulture is supported by environmental certification and Fairtrade accreditation, with vegan-friendly wines and initiatives protecting the Cape Floral Kingdom’s flora and fauna. The vineyards include granite, clay and schist soils. The historic Perdeberg name continues today, with Niel Groenewald listed as Head of Sales and Marketing; ownership and winemaking details are not disclosed.
