Bodega La Senda is a self-managed Bierzo producer in Castilla y León, founded and solely run by former musician Diego Losada. Working rented parcels of old, bush-trained vines, many over 50–60 years old, Losada focuses on very low-yielding vineyards farmed with organic and biodynamic-style principles, including green harvesting, biodiversity promotion, and no chemical treatments. In the cellar, his approach is natural and low-intervention, using unlined concrete vats and old oak or chestnut casks, with no pumps or additives and only minimal SO₂. The result is a distinctly artisanal project shaped entirely by Losada’s hands-on farming and winemaking.
