Gradis’ciutta is a family-owned estate in Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, founded in 1997 by Robert Princic after studying enology and viticulture. The Princic family continues to run the winery, with Robert leading the winemaking alongside Matjaž Cetrtic. Its vineyards are spread across several Collio communes on the region’s characteristic ponca soils, producing indigenous and international varieties. Organic certification was achieved with the 2018 vintage after a ten-year conversion. The estate follows a careful, data-informed approach to viticulture, using targeted sulfur and copper treatments, precision monitoring, renewable energy and photovoltaic panels, while maintaining beehives and natural vegetation. Wines are made in stainless steel and oak, according to style.
