Family-linked Viña Garcés Silva was among the first vineyard developers in Chile’s Leyda Valley, in the cool-climate San Antonio Valley near the Pacific Ocean. Its vineyards are shaped by coastal fog, lean soils, granitic rock, alluvial deposits, and ancient marine terraces, which contribute freshness, minerality, and elegant tannins. The winery bottled its first vintage in 2003 and produces wines under labels including Amayna, Boya, Agape, and Catalino, with a focus on Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and experimental Cabernet Franc. Operations are overseen by general manager Ignacio Casali, with Claudia Gómez and Francisco Ponce named as winemakers. The producer’s wines express a clear connection to the coastal terroir, while no formal sustainability certifications are identified.
