Express Winemakers is a boutique producer in Western Australia’s Great Southern, working with four small leased vineyards in Mount Barker and Porongurup. Its low-yielding vines are farmed organically, without synthetic chemicals or irrigation, and grapes are hand-harvested. Winemaker Ryan O’Meara follows a minimal-intervention approach, foot-crushing whole bunches and relying on spontaneous native-yeast fermentation. The wines are made without fining or filtration, reflecting an environmentally focused philosophy and a hands-off style.
