Domaine Maby

France

Domaine Maby is a family-owned estate in Tavel, in the southern Rhône Valley, founded by Armand Maby in 1950 and now managed by the third generation, Richard Maby, who is also the winemaker. The domaine produces rosé, red, and white wines from Tavel, Lirac, and Côtes du Rhône, including traditional, historical, and premium cuvées. Its approach combines respect for terroir with balance, precision, and a traditional style allied to modern methods. The vineyards are farmed under sustainable practices, with the estate also investing in a transition toward organic agriculture; some sources identify certified organic production. The family’s continuity and Richard Maby’s philosophy of rigor, respect, and humility remain central to the domaine.
