Dominique et Janine Crochet is a family-owned Sancerre domaine in the Loire Valley, founded in 1982 in the village of Bué and now run by sons Teddy and Cyprien Crochet, fifth-generation growers, after Dominique’s death. The estate farms parcels across Bué, Sury-en-Vaux and nearby sites on limestone, clay and flint soils. Organic certification was achieved with the 2023 harvest after years of chemical-free farming, alongside biodynamic interest and sustainable vineyard work. The vines are hand-harvested, and the wines are made with indigenous yeasts and a minimal-intervention approach. The focus is on Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, with cuvées that reflect Sancerre’s varied terroirs.
