Domaine de la Grenaudière is a family-owned estate in the heart of Muscadet, between the Sèvre and Maine rivers, with a winemaking tradition dating to the 18th century. Now in its eighth generation, Mathilde Ollivier and Stéphane Cottenceau continue the family’s focus on dry, terroir-driven whites made entirely from Melon de Bourgogne. Vineyards include 25- to 60-year-old vines on sandy, gravelly, granite and schist soils. A low-intervention approach combines native yeasts, hand-harvesting and whole-cluster pressing, while extended lees aging builds texture and preserves site expression. The estate’s wines have received attention from the press, including recognition from Decanter and the Vinalies France.
