Les Granges White

Domaine de Belle Mare is based in Mèze, near Montpellier, on the banks of the Étang de Thau in the Languedoc. Its vineyards benefit from a maritime microclimate of sunshine, cool nights and lagoon mist, with clay-limestone terraces, quartz gravel and sandy-loamy soils. The estate farms sustainably under HVE certification and follows the natural rhythm of the vine, carefully adapting vineyard work to weather and each stage of the growing cycle. It produces Picpoul de Pinet and IGP Pays d’Oc wines from regional varieties including Piquepoul, Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, alongside Chardonnay, Roussanne, Muscat and others. The saline influence of the lagoon and the vivacity of Picpoul Blanc are central to the domaine’s style; one Picpoul is also vinified and aged in amphora.
